Dr. Fahad Al-Sulaiman is currently the Director of the IRC-REPS and CEEE both at KFUPM. Under his leadership, the two centers have won numerous award including Al-Marai award for scientific creativity 2020, AEE’s Middle East Region Institutional Energy Management Award for 2021, etc. He is a certified energy manager (CEM) and a certified energy auditor (CEA) by AEE. His expertise in projects development/research/teaching include: Renewable energy (solar thermal, solar photovoltaics (PV), and wind energy), cogeneration, trigeneration, distributed/decentralized generation, water desalination, advanced thermal power cycles, electrical grid-connection of renewable energy systems, air-conditioning systems, techno-economic studies for energy systems, life cycle analyses, energy efficiency & energy auditing, and energy policy & regulations.
