Geotechnical Construction and Testing of Piling Foundations on Problematic Soils of Kazakhstan

Geotechnical Construction and Testing of Piling Foundations on Problematic Soils of Kazakhstan
IMG - Geotechnical Construction and Testing of Piling Foundations on Problematic Soils of Kazakhstan
Abstract

  • Design of piling foundations in difficult soils requires the investigation of pile behavior by using dynamic, static, O-cell, and integrity piling tests
  • Soil/pile interaction facilitate the better understanding of the behavior of different types of piles driven in the problematic soils
  • Recommendations for determining the bearing capacity and settlements of driven and bored piles in problematical soils of Kazakhstan
