Dr. Emad Abu-Aisheh is a structural and civil materials specialist in CSD, Saudi Aramco. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Mississippi, USA and his PhD. from the University of Melbourne, Australia in Civil Engineering. He has over 28 years’ experience in structural engineering and concrete technology in academia, research and industry. He was leading the concrete technology and structural dynamics unit of Worley Parsons Australia. He served as lecturer and research scientist at the University of Melbourne, Curtin University Australia, Virginia Tech in the USA. Dr. Emad’s specialty fields include: sustainability and green buildings, durability, concrete technology, structural engineering, repair and waterproofing of concrete structures, liquid retaining structures, modal testing of Civil Structures, structural assessment and health monitoring, NDT of civil engineering structures, and Finite Element Modelling. He served as the onshore structural standards committee vice chairman and member of the civil engineering standards committee and dynamic analysis committee and is also a board member of Saudi Aramco IBTIKAR. Emad has over 50 publications and over 70 technical engineering reports. He is a Board member of ACI-SAC and also a member of ACI, AISC, Concrete Institute Australia, and Fellow of Engineers Australia.
