Development of Natural-Pozzolan Based Alkali Concrete Incorporating Nano-Silica
Abstract
- Development a natural pozzolan (NP)-based alkali activated concrete (AAC).
- Nanosilica (nSiO2) was incorporated
- Morphology, mineralogy and polymerization mechanism of the developed binder including mechanical properties and durability.
- Performance of the AAC was either comparable to or better than the OPC-based concrete in all aspects.
