This seminar presents some lessons learned from Covid-19 pandemic that are needed in the post-pandemic urbanism. In fact, our built environment following Covid-19 pandemic will never be the same. In this context, many unanswered questions need further discussion and multidisciplinary research to add additional security layers to our urban environment to overcome any possible future pandemics.

Dr. Omar S. Asfour
Omar Asfour is an associate professor of architecture. He obtained his PhD from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2006. He has several publications in international journals and conferences that reflect his research interests in sustainable architecture, energy-efficient buildings, and housing planning and policy.
